I believe the signs warn of snow miles before there is any snow so
people will be aware of the possibility of snow. Signs should probably
say hazardous conditions ahead.

The timeline says they saw at least one sign warning of snow but
sounds like it was close to the area where it started snowing.

Saturday, Nov. 25:
The Kims miss their intended turnoff. At about 10:30 pm, they instead
turn west onto Bear Camp Road. Kati Kim describes the road as
"confusing." They see signs warning of possible snow ahead. It
begins
snowing.

The Kims decide to turn back but the road is difficult to follow. Kati
Kim describes snow falling hard as James drives the car in reverse back

down the road with his driver door open so he can see where he's
going.

I think they were also pressured by the amount of gas they had,
and that heavy snow doesn't make it easy to see any sign (let
alone wonder if that's the road you're on).

Sure, they got themselves into a big mess. But I can see where
road signs, missing gate locks, and (evidently) painted words under
the snow-covered pavement sealed their fate.

And, as usual, Salon ignores that Gg has been treading the same ground
from the opposite direction for seven seasons now and that The OC has
always at least paid lip service to it. I like Salon and have been a
subscriber off and on for about five years now -- but their television
reviewers are *terrible,* particularly their sole writer assigned
specifically to the TV beat, the incoherent Heather Havrilesky.

rubber stamped with his name, no doubt by the same assistant

His assistant better pay better attention to what s/he deposits! We get so
many of the low amount checks that usually mean you are agreeing to buy
something!

And to those who say they sign every check - most businesses who get a lot
of checks have either an encoding machine that stamps the back or a rubber
stamp. If you don't do anything, you risk the other bank returning them for
sig - at least the banks around here do that.

I love it when a subcontractor doesn't sign the back and our bank returns
it! They call up yelling and screaming, but it's outside our control - it
is the policy of the bank we deal with.

I just happened to catch the beginning of it at the top of the hour on
E-LOV channel.

I laughed when I saw that it had only been given a "*"rating.

This movie is way to much for the average white man and women to watch
conformably.

For sheer panoramic beauty and the raw astounding sexual power of
black men and black women getting it on with black and white, there
has never been a movie to come close to this one.

No white man should ever watch this movie with his wife/girlfriend. If
he does, he would lose her to brothas the next time she goes out
alone.

I can see why this a cult classic in the manner of "Somewhere in Time"

It is an extraordinarily beautiful romantic movie. Mickey reached his
peak in this one.
