the carpool lane and was alone in the vehicle. When cops approached the
vehicle, Richie was on her cellphone. Law enforcement officers tell TMZ
Nicole Richie admitted she had taken Vicodin and smoked pot. A
preliminary alcohol screening device revealed that Nicole was not under
the influence of alcohol.

Which is why I qualified my supposition. So then can I assume you think it

Well, I already posted this 2 messages up the thread:

I would say there were certainly undercurrents of Rich V. Poor on
Roseanne all the time. It's just you didn't SEE the rich, because of
course they didn't live in Lanford nor interact with the Connors. But
truthfully, between the work strike at "the plant" (I don't even
remember what they made) to Rosenne's animosity with her diner (and
other) bosses,
to the constant financial struggles, Roseanne's sympathy was with the
working class, and her bosses never came off very well, even when they
weren't seen.

Her support of the working class and the opinion that they are being
exploited comes across loud and clear when viewed at a distance.

Why at a distance? They are just as clear up close. On every show, she
railed against the haves and their selfishness. The last season saw her
winning the lottery and still criticizing the rich and their attitudes
toward the working class.

else. If you see her pics from when she was a kid she looks like an

You'd think, but in California, DUI isn't a felony until you hurt
someone and/or an officer sees you doing it, from what I remember. She
was supposedly stopped at the time.
