Courtney Gets a "Hole" Lotta Love in Court
Posted Dec 11th 2006 11:00AM by TMZ Staff

Courtney Love's legal slate was wiped clean in a Los Angeles courtroom
today.

A judge agreed to terminate Love's probation and drop all pending charges
after Love proved that she had successfully completed her drug rehab
programs.

Love was in hot water over several drug cases and an assault charge but now
it's officially behind her.

The judge told Love that he had followed her progress in the media and it
was apparent she had made a choice to change her lifestyle.

After the hearing, Love's super-celebrity lawyer, Howard Weitzman, told TMZ,
"Courtney stepped up to the plate, turned her life around and is on the road
to releasing her new record and hopefully getting hired to act in films. I'm
happy I could help."

No, because Criss Angel really *does not* levitate, and David
Copperfield really *does not* make things disappear.

Wait, maybe you ARE right.

WHAT IF her BFFs are trying to keep up with someone who
isn't even injesting as many drinks and drugs as it appears
she's doing? How else can she have no physical conse-
quences while everyone around her self-destructs?

Now we learn that Nicole Ritchie was full of Vicodin and
marijuana in her last night when she was arrested.

People suck up to Paris Hilton because it gets THEM publicity.
Meanwhile, being only a partial heiress, she charges hundreds
of thousands of dollars as "appearance fees". She's like a
billboard.

Salon has great writers...it's just too bad that Paris couldn't even
understand the first sentence, let along the whole article...but then
again, she could care less. Great article.

Dreyfuss: Down and Out in Burbank
Posted Dec 11th 2006 1:35PM by TMZ Staff

Richard Dreyfuss won an Oscar for playing a struggling actor in the 1977
film "The Goodbye Girl." Now he appears to be playing one in real life, as a
spokesperson for a get-rich-quick program.

A promotional mailer announces that Dreyfuss will speak at
themillionaireconference.com's January 10 real estate and financial seminar
at California's Burbank Airport Hilton. Oh, the glamour! TMZ contacted the
outfit, which confirmed Dreyfuss' appearance but would not say what topics
the "Jaws" star would be covering ... perhaps "Losing Your Career in 3 Easy
Steps."

The flyer comes with two complimentary VIP tickets, allegedly a $149 value
each. TMZ contacted the registration hotline and was told that the event is
free -- no fee is charged whether you have a ticket or not. You get what you
pay for, people.

Finally, if the lure of hearing Dreyfuss speak doesn't entice you to attend,
the invite says a free lunch will be provided. We can all rest easy, knowing
that Richard won't go hungry.

Hmmmm. I saw Cher in an infomercial and i doubt she did it for the
dough.
Maybe its a glamorized hobby for him.

There's something that's always puzzled me about Dreyfuss.
I first noticed him in "American Graffiti" and I figured he'd have a
pretty good run playing young characters. Then, I saw him in Jaws and
he already looked liked an old man. He's appeared old to me ever since.
It's pretty much the same deal with Malcom McDowell. I first saw him in
"If". He looked younger than he actually was. He retained a youthful
look through films like "Oh, Lucky Man" and "A Clockwork Orange". Then,
all of a sudden, he too looked like he had aged 20 or 30 years.

there are a ton of celebrities that demand this...Barbara
Streisand...Diana Ross...I assume they don't want to have to
acknowledge anyone...so if you don't look at them, they don't have to
smile or say hello...it's bizarre...especially in Holmes/Plastic
Spice's cases....

J-Lo & Marc Anthony to Adopt Puerto Rican Baby

Submitted by Julie on Mon, 2006-12-11 08:57.
Jennifer Lopez and her husband Marc Anthony are the latest celebrity
couple to hop on the adoption bandwagon. It has been reported that the
pair will be adopting a baby from Puerto Rico.

The couple, especially Lopez, have made it quite clear since their 2004
marriage that they would like to expand their family and have children.
So far, however, they've not had much luck. There have been reports
that Jennifer had miscarriage, and is receiving IVF treatments to try
to help them conceive. Jennifer has denied these claims, however.

The couple still really wants to have children, and have decided that
adoption may be the answer to their prayers. They've decided that
Puerto Rico would be the best place for them to look as both of their
parents were born there.

For now, they are checking out the various orphanages, looking for the
right one. Even with their celebrity status, it will take some time for
an adoption to go through. They are also hoping that Madonna's adoption
scandal will have passed by the time they are ready to adopt, as they
see their adoption as a positive thing.

Madonna criticised by PETA animal rights group for wearing fur

Madonna has been criticised by People for the Ethical Treatment of
Animals (PETA) an animal rights group for wearing what is reportedly a
real chinchilla fur coat as she left a London restaurant.

PETA have accused the pop singer of ignoring cruelty to animals and
urged her to watch videos of animals being farmed for their fur.

A spokesman for Madonna - who is about to design a range of clothing
for high street chain H&M - said the singer was unable to comment at
present.

Poorva Joshipura, director of PETA Europe, said: "We encourage anyone
who wears fur to watch videos of these animals being electrocuted,
caught in traps and skinned alive.

"Thousands of people, including Paris Hilton, have said that the videos
changed their minds about wearing fur.

"Chinchillas are shy, intelligent animals who can live for up to 15
years in the wild. Yet on fur farms, these animals are violently killed
while fully conscious."

If that is accurate, then she had best be made to face the same ordeal
as the rest of the world. Driving into oncoming traffic is serious.
What is with these people?
I don't understand all of this. Wasnt Paris just driving around

Dont these folks get their licenses suspended at a minimum?

Right--can't they at least afford to call a cab or limo?

Well, she was actually driving into oncoming traffic (as you suggest
her punishment should be). She was just so high she didn't care if she
killed anyone or not.

Tyra wants to adopt
Monday, December 11, 2006

Will Tyra be the next celeb to adopt a child?American supermodel Tyra
Banks says she wants to adopt a child - but swears she is not following
the latest celebrity trend.

The 33-year-old host of America's Next Top Model insisted that she was
not just jumping on the bandwagon of stars adopting, including Madonna
and Angelina Jolie, saying she has wanted to adopt since she was a
young girl.

"I've wanted to adopt since I was eight, nine years old, before it was
hip," Tyra is quoted by WENN as saying.

"I really do think I will. I don't have to have a child come from my
womb to have a connection.

"Children that are already born are beautiful to me. I can definitely
be a mother to them," she said.

In May this year Tyra, who has her own talk show, The Tyra Banks Show,
was named one of the 100 most influential people in the world by TIME
magazine.

I can hardly watch SNL since I got a big screen tv. You could see it was cue
card central before, but now it's ridiculous. It's so bad it looks like
they're doing a parody of cue card reading. Makes the lipsynchers look not
so bad, too, lol!

What idiot came up with the idea of Benning hosting?! She's one of the most
dull-as-dishwater, stuck-up, phony, ugly pieces of crap still floating in
the Hollywood toilet. Comedy is the last thing she should try. Good grief,
what on earth is going on with SNL? If that's the best it can do, shut it
down!

I don't think that "ballooned" photo was dated; I couldn't find a date.

I don't think she looks significantly bigger than she did on Oprah.

'I don't know how to dress myself. Help me, mommy, mommy! Or tell me where I

Sheesh!

Zoe's oversized sunglasses--one of her great original brainwaves, lol!

Nicole Richie fires image-making stylist Rachel Zoe

Thursday November 23rd, 2006 at 1:29 pm by HeatherHoneypot

Nicole Richie has reportedly fired her stylist Rachel Zoe in an effort to
turn her life around.

Rachel, who also styles the likes of Mischa Barton and Lindsay Lohan, helped
turn Nicole from being a run of the mill party-girl and reality tv star into
a tabloid fashion icon but now Nicole apparently believes it's time to move
on.

A source close to socialite revealed after seeking medical help regarding
her weight, "[Nicole] wanted to surround herself with positive people and
influences" and Rachel didn't make that list.

Nicole is now working with Penelope Cruz's stylist Cristina Ehrlich.

Would that be the same trip to Hawaii where she peed herself in a taxi?
I think the Niarchos' decision was a wise one.
