At what point did state you were only talking about DCA, while telling
me I was totally wrong and that at no airport could anyone get through
that wasn't a ticketed passenger?

I see, there is NO other airport you use.....
So, you fly no domestic flights.

You are still incorrect, as there is no difference in the requirement
that an adult check in at the counter, check the child in, and get a
pass, then take the kid to the gate. Or go to the ticket counter, and
get a pass to pick the kid up..

None of this really matters much an is an aside to the original issue.

What prevents someone on the terrorist watch list from using a FAKE
boarding pass to get through security at most US airport?

Mr OTTER... Are you stating that none of these 6 airports require people
to escort UM's to and from the gate? How do you know? Did you ask?
Assuming?
I met my daughter at DCA in August, and on the way back dropped her at
BWI.

No, you said that you have flown all over the US.

"Those people you mentioned are met by airline personnel. I've flown
all over the US and I've yet to fly into any airport since 9/11 where
any non-ticketed passengers were allowed past the security area."

See, that's one of the differences between us. I do not
underestimate the human mind. There are people out there with their
thinking caps on who realize what I am saying and most likely even why
I am saying it.

How far would any person go in defense of his or her mother, sisters,
nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles, etc. in addition to the
thousands upon thousands of innocent Black children?

I came into being in 1970. The City of Chicago's Housing Ordinance
was formed in 1963. Yet, this occurred just over this past summer here
in Chicago.

http://www.clccrul.org/article.html?&rls_article_id=39

I had no direct hand whatsoever in the present condition of the City of
Chicago. I do not vote toward the zoning laws in City Hall as I
mentioned in a previous post. I had no parts in contributing,
maintaining or creating the gloom and despair felt by many people
living there. My actions can not by any stretch of the imagination be
called hatred. No way, no how could any sane individual conclude that
unless that person has a vested interest in keeping that city's
citizens in the desolation, isolation and sorrow they presently reside.

I most certainly have a vested interest in keeping the spotlight on
Chi-town although I no longer reside there I have lots of family that
still do. My objective is not to tear Chicago down; but, just the
opposite. My objective is to help build her up but more importantly to
serve as a voice for those that are caught up in the throes of that
24-Hour-Economic-Survival-Mode I spoke of earlier. Most of these
desperate citizens are so wrapped up in just surviving that they do not
have the time or inclination to help do this. Others still do not have
or know the facts as I have been blessed to know and have. There are
some who may instinctively feel that something is amiss but maybe do
not have the literary skills to fully understand all these dire
implications and the dire effect it has on a person's life even if
they do get to read the facts for themselves. This is where I come in.
I do not have an abundant of money to spare but I do have a voice.
Because I grew up on the west-side of Chicago I do know what this feels
like on a day-to-day basis. It's absolutely brutal.

So I figured out one day, why not me? No really, why not me? Then I
penned the name of someone else who one day maybe acknowledged the same
and decided to use her voice too. I have a vested interest in the
outcome of Chicago. The legal profession has a term for this which
explains that a person can not just bring litigation into the courts
without such a vested interest or a direct stake in its outcome. That
would be me, myself and I.

I remember well as a teenager working on the north-side and befriending
this girl that lived on the far south-side in a community called
Altgeld Gardens. Our neighborhoods were frightening paralleled almost
to a science. Then it hit me. This is not coincidence. This was
deliberate. She and I would talk about this for long hours on our way
home from work. We had to travel far since we could find no work in
our own respective communities. Then a couple of years later I read
this book by Iceberg Slim
http://www.buy.com/prod/mama_black_widow/q/loc/106/print/1/30291764.html.

It is an excellent story about Chi-town back in the day. It was so
similar to my own childhood (father, etc.) that I often had to put the
book down to recompose myself more than once. If anyone is interested
it is a story about a gay African American male and it will rip your
very heart out. Then, I read some more books. One in particular
comes to mind by the same author called, Trick
Baby.http://www.kcholmim.org/0870679775/Trick_Baby.html

And part II to this book is Long White Con which again reaffirmed my
inner beliefs and revealed truths about Chicago.
http://www.24hourtalk.com/books/isbn0870679740.html

So I doubt anyone with the mental capacity to see the reality of my
life and others growing up poor in a ghetto in America would really
fault my speaking out. Just like you learned in American Politics 101
you have to ask yourself the pertinent questions: Who Benefits? Who
Gains? Who Loses? etc. and then anyone can figure out the truth for
himself or herself.

I mean no harm whatsoever but quite the opposite in fact. I trust the
public to realize that if nothing else. Maybe I am wrong in this
assumption but I do sincerely believe this nonetheless.

Yeah, probably a secretive Scorpio is my first guess; Pisces is my
second with Gemini or Aquarius as my last choices.

I can not believe a smart guy like you did not figured out her
Achilles' Heel. It is the inability to be vulnerable, to let anyone
enter this private side of her, which is a very typical Aries trait. I
think that's why Dude probably threw those kids into her path. ;-)

They (Aries) have tempers true but the anger is so fleeting you almost
forget about it as soon as it happens mainly because they will come
skipping back in a few moments later as though nothing at all just
occurred (I know,, makes you wonder sometimes). Yet, they do not hold
grudges and they will most definitely supply you with the very shirt
off of their backs, if you ask and mostly especially if you do not ask.
Aries will see a need and jump right in as though it is their
birthright to do so. Aries are very smart people and full of advice and
almost too ready to help when a hand is needed.

Now Scorpios are by far the most vengeful of the zodiac. I have one
cousin in particular (he and I are the same age) and we are closer than
any two siblings. I have witnessed him lay in wait for ten and even
twenty years to exact his revenge on a person who either slighted him
or someone he loves. A little scary to watch a person doing this as
though said event just occurred the day or week prior. But in their
defense they are the most loyal of the zodiac if you can win his or her
trust which is not easy. Scorpio does not trust easily if at all. He
and I click so well due to his biting sarcasm (unusual wit) which is
another trait I love about Scorpios. But best be warned. I think
'the stinger' on its tail serves as a careful reminder if you do
forget.

yeah, so she munched on some Vicodins like they were M&M's.

And what are the odds that Paris Hilton supplied the Vikes? ( Not that
Richie herself doesn't know her way around a nice
over-prescription.........)

True. Committed suicide. Private services. Pretty sad.

Obituaries in the local paper aren't automatic. You have to submit them --
though the funeral director normally does this as part of the service and
charges for it.

Perhaps the family or the deceased himself did not want a big fuss made but
wanted to keep it an intimate family matter.

Thank you but as any parent will confess, it is a daily battle
now-a-days for your child's mind against all the outside forces.
Back in the day, we didn't experience so many outside conflicts
pulling at us while growing up.

I once read somewhere that playing games with male children (as if I
didn't already know this) is a great way to get them to open up. In
our house we all love to get together and play monopoly, scrabble,
checkers, backgammon, Uno - - well all of them. After numerous days of
asking, waiting and pleading for my eldest to join us I finally went
into his room and grabbed the controller to his X-Box. He was so
upset. He kept yelling, "Mom, that's not funny; cut it out. Give
it back, Mom! Mom! Give me my controller!"

I was just playing with him but he was really mad at me. Then, as
something dawned on me my eyebrows shot up. I say, "Oh, so you want
your ...controller... ? ?

Then I go, "Hmmmm... How clever. What an accurate name, controller.
But whom is this game "controlling? YOU! Yes, I see now. It does
not so much control this game here as it does YOU! This game is
controlling YOU, not your X-Box." I could see a light beam from his
eyes as this realization became apparent to him also.

He still plays his X-Box game like crazy but somehow I think after that
day it lost a tiny bit of its allure over him.

It just kills my husband how I can say just a sentence or two and get
through quicker to these boys than all his days of yelling and ranting.

Also I should point out, that a lot of the people, who are doing this
illegal malicious hacking, are working for the record companies and the
entertainment industry to try to curtail the copying of music and
movies.
And thats the new reality. Thats where all their revenue is being
spent, to try and stop this unstoppable thing.
And its wasted money, because you can't stop it.
And they have enlisted the American military industrial complex, and
Microsoft, and they are getting nowhere, except creating a war, that
disrupts the entire business world, leads to other lawless behaviour,
since when does the ends justify the means?

So people merely invest in things like flash drives. Portable storage.
http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/proddetail.asp?logon=&langid=EN&sku_id=0665000FS10081902&catid=10485

And they just unplug it, from their computer.
And they are at 4 or so GB now, next year it will be 30 GB, and for
backups, you can't beat a firewire harddrive, you know an external
harddrive, and you just turn it off, after you store your information.
A hacker cannot turn it on, if you turn it physically off.
And they are about 700 dollars for 1 terabyte of storage, next year
they will be 400 dollars.
A terabyte, is a gazillion songs, and a gazillion movies if you want to
do the math on that its a thousand gigabytes.
So while they are spending billions on hacking computers all over the
world to destroy mp3's they are destroying easily replaced copies and
getting nowhere at all.

LOL. You apparently don't know who you said this to. This woman is
gutsy (and, pretty) enough to do it too.

Why do you think her parents coined her Bambi? Brains and beauty is a
rare combo indeed. She's blessed for sure!

Bad memories... I was driving through the mid-west at night and hit the scan
on the radio to find a new station. It locked on, and there were a few bars
of a cover of Muddy Waters' 'Mannish boy'. "Alright!", I said. Then it got
to the line 'I'm a CHRISTIAN man', and I sadly hit the scan button again.
