Mickey Mouse's Preschool offers simple preschool learning fundamentals
in a non-threatening environment. In addition to the problem solving
and short term memory skills used in every interaction, kids can learn
letter recognition, letter matching, number recognition, counting,
shapes, colors and color mixing, opposites, patterns, left/right,
same/different and what does not belong as well as basic computer
concepts and mouse use. They can additionally strengthen such
developing abilities as creativity, music appreciation, following
directions, listening and vocabulary.
Kid Appeal
This program contains the high quality cartoon graphics one expects
from Disney Interactive. The theme is cute, and appeals to youngsters,
especially boys. While not profuse in their praise, our testers' gave
this program solid commendations.
Ease of Use / Install
Mickey Mouse's Preschool installs without a problem. Not all activities
are intuitive, especially for preschoolers, nor are they well explained
in the program. Caregivers will want to check out the included Program
Manual, which explains the activities and offers a list of skills
learned for each.
