<> Re: Fwd: CNBC ...is the Next Anirudh Sethi in Making ?

I totally agree.  Thank you for being so blunt, but so right and truthful about it.

It is all about fast fingers, and getting things accomplished.  I am flawed at it also which is why I am able to write this.  And, besides, I am doing something about it.

The golden days were when we all used to think things through before making decisions on Rs10K or Rs 1L......But today, a lot of us are making quick decisions to get in AND out without much reasoning other than 'he said it' or 'I heard it'.

In the European movement to 'Slow things down' and no do 19 things each day, we have to learn quickly when it comes to stock market since it can wipe out 'many many hours of hard work that each one of us did to collect the money'.   I am putting spreadsheets together that pull quarterly and annual numbers with % gains that will open our eyes to what kind of stocks we should buy and why.  More importantly, it is good to know when to sell, and for that I am putting targets in it.

I will share it when I am a bit more ready, and continue to post it on an on-going basis.  It is looking good so far and already at V3!

Why blame CNBC alone? Are we also not at fault? See the messages here. Give me short term tips for making profit and similar......... Is this somebody's grandfather's place to give tips. What is the motivation? yes, people like Pradip, Abe, etc., give a lot of insight, but they do not blindly ask you to follow. We rarely do our homework, study the market, and blindly buy and sell. Then if we are at a loss, we start blaming others for our mistakes, not realising that it was our stupidity which caused the losses in the first place. Let us do our homework, study the markets, and buy and sell carefully after evaluating all options. Then if we still go wrong, then let us look at the reasons for that. Just my opinion....
